Pig Dive Hostel Room: Double or Twin Room with Private Bathroom

Details of the Room

Room Size: 14m²
Free Wi-Fi, Private Bathroom, Air Conditioning, Hair Dryer, Shampoo, Bodywash, Towels, Air Purifier, Clothes Hangers

Key Highlights of Pig Hostel Room:

  • The bed sheet quality is extremely comfortable. No need to worry about sleep quality.

  • The hangers are really great to have if you need to hangup some of your bikinis, dresses, etc. There is also a public clothes drying rack available outdoor if you have super soaked towels/clothes and want to dry it with direct sunlight.

  • There is no problem with water temperature and shower pressure, so you can have a comfortable relaxing bath

Other Feedback and Tips:

  • As you can see from the photos, there’s only 1 chair available and a small table. So don’t expect alot of storage option for your stuff.

  • If you are traveling here with large suitcases, you might struggle with opening 2 luggages at the same time. I personally didn’t have any trouble because my friend and I both travelled light for convenient island hopping.

  • For most hostels, don’t expect the bathroom to be large with storage. The bathroom for Pig Dive Hostel is actually quite spacious already. But there isn’t a lot of places for you to place toiletries. I recommend bringing a hanging tolietry bag, which can be used at all types of accommodations when traveling.

Facilities of Pig Dive Hostel

One of the great things of Pig Hostel, is the variety of room types available to cater to all types of travelers.

The room I shared for this trip is the a private room, “Double or Twin Room with Private Bathroom”.

Another type of room is a shared backpacker room, which is your standard bunkbed room. This is great for any travelers looking for a quick stay and save cost.

For those booking the shared backpacker room, you get your own locker to put your luggage (photo on the right) and a shared shower/toilet area which provides clean filter water and blow drier.

Other public facilities that everyone can share is the clothes drying rack, the fridge, shelf of board games, and the common area.

Because of the variety of rooms, it’s a great way to make new travel friends!

About Breakfast

Is it crazy if I say that one of THE biggest highlights that I want everyone to know is how delicious the breakfast is?

lthough the breakfast choices are limited (view bottom of my blog for menu details), every morning, the breakfast is freshly cooked based on your scheduled breakfast time (staff will check with you daily when you would like to come upstairs for breakfast).

During this trip, I ordered the bacon set and the tuna salad set. The bacon is freshly grilled and the tuna salad is extremely flavorful without any of the unwanted sogginess. Toast is nice and crispy, with a choice of eggs. Each breakfast comes with a choice of drink, coffee or tea. The dining area is this comfortable rooftop patio with the option of rooftop or no rooftop. The aesthetics is a very chic outdoor concept which is great for anyone who wants to take beautiful morning photos.
